Choices about using resources have both immediate and long-term impacts.

Conservation (reducing our use of resources) is one way of reducing the impacts of using resources.

Analyse the immediate and long-term effects resource use on society and the environment, and evaluate options for conserving resources.

Specifics

Analyse the long-term impacts on society and the environment of human uses of natural resources, and suggest ways to reduce these impacts.
